In Sandos and Marconfort, our goal is to make each and every one of our guests happy, and if there is one thing that really moves us, it is the sight of a child’s smile because they are enjoying their holidays with their family! We are convinced that a happy child will be a happy adult. However, the reality is very different. Many children live in conditions of extreme poverty, which reduces the possibility of having a bright and prosperous future.
We help 16 children on the verge of educational exclusion resume their integral development while at the same time educating the entire family in community centers to detect and eradicate possible situations that hinder the development of infants.
At the Sandos Foundation, we aim to work and reduce all possible causes that lead to school dropout and child poverty, so that we can offer equal opportunities to all children, guaranteeing them a decent, promising, and happy future. It is for this reason that we have joined Save the Children, an organization known worldwide, in a new project to give early attention to children from 0 to 3 years old and their families! The purpose of this is to solidify an educational development for children at a young age which allows children to strengthen and increase, in a complementary way, all of their personal abilities while having the opportunity to grow in a favorable environment and have the proper support they need from their families.
Objectives
- Offer a socio-educational environment that helps meet the vital needs of the most disadvantaged children.
- Provide stimuli and experiences that facilitate the creation of the cognitive foundations of children and the acquisition of socio-emotional competencies that favor correct development.
- Create synergies among the agents in the area to improve resources, resources that allow the increase in participation of families and children.
- Implement support networks that help solve family needs, improve social cohesion in the neighborhood, and improve intercultural relations.
